Interesting facts about Copper

1. Although the Dead Sea Scrolls have been known to be made with rare animal skins, one that was recovered contains this metal.

2.It is naturally antibacterial. Brass doorknobs, handrails and finger plates are excellent choices for public buildings and will prevent the spread of bacteria.

3.It is one of the few metals that can be found naturally as a pure metal. It is also completely recyclable.

4.Has been used for as long as we can remember. The Egyptians had the ankh symbol to represent this mineral, and pyramids in Egypt used it for water plumbing.
